  12. Mac hard disk into a CD-ROM.  All you need to do is send us your hard disk, in
  13. it's original packaging, and we'll make a CD-ROM from it for only $299.  This
  14. is a one-time only, limited offer available only to Apple developers.
  15. Turnaround time is 3 days not including shipping.

  17. This is a great opportunity to open up space on your hard disk, and yet still
  18. have instant access to your files.  It's like adding another 600 Mb drive to
  19. your system!  Here's what to do:

  21. • Make sure your data is in a  normal, valid HFS image, contained in a
  22.    single partition - if your disk has more than one partition this must be
  23.    the first partition
  24.  
  25. • The data on the disc must be contiguous and de-fragmented - give us a
  26.    call if you have questions on this
  27.  
  28. • Maximum data size is 600 Mb - please include a listing of the exact byte
  29.    count of the data on the disk
  30.  
  31. • If your hard disk does not have an external SCSI selector, the SCSI ID
  32.    must be a number other than 3
  33.  
  34. • Call us for details on how to insure System 6 / System 7 compatibility on
  35.    the resultant CD-ROM

  38. that provides you with a tracking number for your package.  Your disk will be
  39. returned to you freight collect via carrier of your choice.  Although every
  40. effort will be made to ensure safety during shipment, OMI cannot accept
  41. responsibility for any damages resulting in shipment to or from our offices.
